When Rad Rabbits is about to launch the second series of its NFT collection on OpenSea, there is a popular question: How do you buy NFT?
Here is a step by step guide on how you can go down the rabbit hole and buy Rad Rabbits NFT.
Step 1 – Create a MetaMask Digital Wallet – (where your NFT is stored)
Here you can create a MetaMask wallet https://metamask.io. First download the chrome extension if you want to create a wallet on your desktop or download the mobile app if you want to create a wallet on your phone. You can create a wallet with a 12 word phrase or a 24 word phrase. Please note that this should be written in a safe place and will not be shared. The best practice is to write these 12 -word phrases on a securely stored paper. Do not store these words on your phone, for safety reasons. You can also secure your wallet login using the face ID on your phone. Just FYI, the identity of the MetaMask user remains anonymous.
Rad Rabbits NFTs cost a certain amount of Ethereum cryptocurrency. Once you know which Rad Rabbit you want to buy, connect your MetaMask wallet OpenSea.
Once the wallet is connected, you can select that Rabbit Rad you want to add it to your collection then press “Buy Now” and continue through the checkout process. You need to keep track of gas costs – so make sure you have enough ETH in your wallet for gas costs. Gas fee is a term used to describe a “transaction” fee.
Step 2 – Buy Ethereum- (to buy NFT and pay gas costs)
The second step in buying any NFT, is to buy some Ethereum. For this step, you can buy Ethereum in a Metamask wallet or on a crypto exchange.
Option 1 – In the metamask mobile application you want to press on the side panel and then “Add Funds”. The three integration options for buying ETH in a metamask wallet are: Wyre, Transak and Moonpay. After choosing one of them, they will take you through a step-by-step process to purchase some Ethereum. ETH will immediately arrive in your Metamask wallet.
Option 2 – Buy Ethereum from the exchange. Gemini is one of the recommended exchanges. If you choose to purchase ETH from an exchange, you will need to register and create an account. Then you need to enter your bank information so you can buy ETH on the exchange. Once you have created a Gemini account, purchased Ethereum and created a MetaMask wallet, the last step is to transfer ETH from your Gemini account to the MetaMask wallet. To copy your MetaMask wallet address – just hover over “Account 1” and the “Copy to clipboard” option will look like in the image below.
Once you send Ethereum to your MetaMask wallet, the funds will appear and you will be able to purchase Rad Rabbit NFT. To transfer funds to your MetaMask wallet, click the Transfer button in the upper right corner of your Gemini profile- then select the “Withdraw from Gemini” page. Once you are on this page, you will select Ethereum as the currency for the Cancel and for the Purpose you want to copy the MetaMask deposit wallet address there. You will enter the amount and complete the withdrawal.
Step 3 – Buy Rad Rabbit
Once you have set up your wallet and you have Ethereum in your metamask you will want to navigate to the Rad Rabbits OpenSea page. Once you know which Rad Rabbit you want to buy, connect your MetaMask wallet OpenSea.
Once the wallet is connected, you can select that Rabbit Rad you want to add it to your collection then press “Buy Now” and continue through the checkout process. Where is your Rad Rabbit?
Once your NFT is purchased, it is stored in blocks. The NFT collection smart contract address is provided upon purchase. Your NFT will appear in your MetaMask wallet and will appear on your Opensea profile.
What’s Coming with Rad Rabbit?
To ensure the uniqueness and rare character of the project, each Rabbit is equipped with exclusive items, such as original hand-drawn sketches and other content owned solely by the owner. NFT is also an entry into the official Rad Party in Los Angeles in 2023 and other events.
One of the main goals of the project is to expand 2D Rad Rabbits into the Metaverse next year in 2023 with “The Warren.” A warren is a rabbit ecosystem where the species lives. Rad Rabbits plans to digitize this world, creating a Web3 space where collectors can jump down rabbit holes and interact with other rabbits and NFT collectors.
