Bondly Finance and Animoca Brands recently announced the rebrand of Bondly Finance Forj. Previously the brand has led the way in the NFT space through a number of innovative partnerships and now we speak directly with Charles Stanton, Head of Marketing at Forj to learn more about the launch, what changes to expect and how to focus Forj. to simplify Web3 and create strong fan -creator partnerships. Interestingly, the launch is the result of an extensive rebrand undertaken over the past six months led by the design exports of leading brands whose clients include Disney and Coca-Cola!
Q: Can you explain what Bondly Finance does?
A: Bondly Finance is a provider of end-to-end Web3 and NFT solutions, majority owned by Animoca Brands, working with large brands and creators on a variety of projects and campaigns that use technology to meet their needs.
Q: Why rebranding training?
A: Along with Animoca Brands, we are committed to launching the next wave of consumers into Web3, and we know that Bondly Finance is not the right brand for the long term. It’s very focused on DeFi and the ‘finance’ angle doesn’t have much appeal to the majority of creators and fans out there. For example, if you’re a top record label or a major entertainment brand, you consider how your audience will respond to a partnership with us and will obviously be better off with a dynamic, energetic and adaptive brand like Forj than with Bondly Finance.
Q: Is there a difference in Forj’s purpose, compared to Bondly Finance?
Indeed, our focus is on the partnership of fans and creators – an excellent example of ‘forging’ is creating something, whether it’s a relationship or an experience. Through my growing number of brands (such as Metaprints and PolkaPet World) and partnerships with large platforms like Spring and Bandsintown, we will be bringing fans closer to our favorite creators. Creators like Lewis Capaldi and many more will be announced!
Ultimately, the goal is to be the primary gateway for a wider audience to experience Web3, through the metaverse or through NFT ownership that unlocks useful experiences.
Q: How does Forj help the adoption of web3?
A: We want to simplify Web3, and work with brands to unlock the potential to create incredible brand experiences in real life and in the metaverse. Adoption comes from simplifying and focusing on what matters – experience. The fact that the experience is supported by blockchain isn’t an issue, but how it can enable new and useful interactions between fans and creators, such as DAO rules, metaverse events, and exclusive access to meet creators.
Q: What are your immediate plans for Forj?
A: We have a lot of great announcements to come, many of which focus on their relationship with Animoca Brands and our position in the group is very exciting.
Q: What will happen to $ BONDLY and how will holders benefit from this transition?
A: Tokens, for now, remain unchanged and token holders should benefit from the influence of the announcement string that we will be working on that will add utility to those tokens.
Q: What new products and partnerships are planned under the Forj banner? Do you want to give a review to your readers?
A: We are working with Phantom Galaxies as an exclusive sales partner, which will be our first exclusive announcement! We will also be launching a new product in the coming weeks which I am very excited about. We also have some new partnerships to be announced, it will be a busy month…
