Sandbox announced a new partnership with global gaming company Gravity on July 27th.The goal is to bring Ragnarok, a large-scale multiplayer online role-playing game created by Gravity, to the Metaverse.
Through this partnership, Ragnarok LAND will be built on The Sandbox Metaverse, as well as a variety of content and NFTs that use Ragnarok IP. In addition, users will be able to participate in future game jams on the theme of the Ragnarok universe and its characters.
Gravity is a world-renowned online game company founded in April 2000, when the Korean game industry was just beginning. On February 8, 2005, Gravity completed its IPO, trading $ 108 million on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol GRVY, making it the first Korean game company to go public on Nasdaq.
Gravity has developed Ragnarok Online. Ragnarok Online serves a wide range of players in the domestic and global markets. Since Ragnarok Online in 2002, Ragnarok is Gravity’s main IP, which has been successfully serviced on both PC and mobile.

This global IP includes many series such as Ragnarok M: Eternal Love, Ragnarok Origin, Ragnarok X: Next Generation, Ragnarok V: Returns, Ragnarok Begins and many more.
